MIL was Clearing out my Grandfather in laws house after his passing, stumbled on an old Hopkins and Allen Shotgun. Doesn't look in great shape, stock is nicked up and barrel looks rusty. I'll get my hands on it soon enough but not sure I'll learn anything else useful.

Doesn't appear to be much value per the google. Agree?

Hang it on the wall in the study or man cave and admire it.

That's the plan. No real intention of trying to sell it. But always like to know a little bit about the ones hanging on the wall.

The other day we were at my grandparents and granddad had to get in the safe for something. He stated pulling out all kinds of old guns, mostly shotguns, and (unfortunately) mostly ones with little to no value or FUBAR'ed. He has what looks to be the same model Hopkins and Allen shotgun as you guys found. I looked it over and tried to do a little research. Didn't come up with much. I'd be interested in info as well.
