try purple heart pawn.

although many posters here would give u fair value and often more than any store would

Thanks for the shout out. As eye guy says, if you put in the effort and time to sell it yourself then you will always get more. Not sure about more value. That's always dependent on what your time is worth.

Good luck with the sale!

OK, guys...spent the day researching and making some calls. I'm sitting on more value than I first anticipated. I will be posting specifics for everything and prices this evening sometime. I am also including 3 of his pistols I thought I would keep, but as my wife reminded me, I already have enough. I will cross-post to Classifieds as well.

Fair enough. Some nice tools there so do what you need to do. I'm interested, so I'll wait and see what $ you are looking for and go from there.

There is no such thing. And this comes from a guy that has more pistols than rifles.

Okay guys, here's what I have:

Pistols:
Beretta 950 BS .22 short pistol (with box and holster)...$300.00--SOLD
Browning Hi-Power Belgium 1968 T-series 9mm w/ ring hammer...$2,000
Ruger .22 single-six W.M.R. (6.5 inch barrel, in box, 2 cylinders, in box, circa 1960))...$600.00

***Knowing my father-in-law, there's a good chance these pistols have never been fired. All 3 are in excellent condition.

Rifles/Shotguns:
Browning A5 semi-automatic 16 ga (circa 1960's)...$1,000
Winchester 37 20 ga single-shot break-action (circa 1950's-1960's)...$500.00
Remington Model 24 .22 long rifle (circa 1916-1920)...$500.00
Winchester Model 62 .22 S/L/R 1932 Gallery Gun...$1200
Browning BAR Belgium 308 (scroll engraving/buck head, circa 1960's)...$1,000
Parker Brothers DH side x side shotgun...$2950
Mossberg New Haven 283 TB .410 bolt-action...$200.00
Santa Fe French MAS 36 WW2 bolt-action (no strap/no bayonet)...$650.00
Fox Sterlingworth 20 ga (1927)...$2000

Kentucky Percussion Flintlock long rifle (antique, also have the antique powder horn and antique brass powder flask...guessing later 1700's-early 1800's)...$1,000

I also have a crate full of assorted ammo for these guns...it is old. I assume it all fires because it was stored in his gun cabinets. Definitely "antique" ammo...don't know if there's any interest in it???

I've had some interest via email already...I will respond to you guys individually as soon as I can.

On the Browning's, you can look up their exact age with serial numbers.

On the ammo, I would really look into what it is. There are definitely people that collect old ammo. There is probably a cartridge collecting group in Dallas that you can contact.

Do you happen to know if the Parker and Fox are reproduction? You might want to consider having someone look at those two. Jackson Armory in Dallas would be a good start.

I have a similar Winchester 62a. Those guns are so much fun.

I highly recommend the mossberg 410 for a kids first year dove gun. I have the same gun branded revelation which was made by mossberg that I got at age 8 and my son shot his first two years also until he was strong enough for a 20 gauge.

This bolt action 410 loaded one shell at a time is much safer and easier for a kid to shoot than a single shot hammer gun many kids start on. Very light and a good shooter. Thumb slide safety behind the bolt.

OP, it looks like a couple of the long guns are missing from your list (30-30 and Remington Nylon). Did you remove them or just haven't added them yet?
