I'm not quite sure how one accidentally shoots oneself in the head. Even with my unloaded guns I never look down the barrel (from the front). I'm picturing something like this going down.

I still don't quite understand how a gun that is in your pocket (who, by the way carries a pistol in their pocket?) discharges and hits the carrier in the face. Exactly what anatomical position do you need to be in for this to be physically possible? Was he trying to blow himself with his jeans on?

When I read this in that first article in the OP I thought maybe I would've liked this guy's stuff, but then I watched that video and realized that was all just a big ole' fat lie. There wasn't a lick of country in that boy's bones. Not one bit.

Yeah me either.

I tried to imagine some scenario where that could possibly happen.

Maybe his pistol was in his pants pocket next to the bed. His phone is in his other pants pocket.

Maybe he was sleeping or just woke up his phone goes off. Dude grabs for his phone in his pants pocket. Forgets the gun is there. Just doesnt immediately register with him because he usually doesnt carry. while trying to fish his phone out of his pants pocket, somehow manages to shoot himself in the face.

If you told me to imagine a scenario...

I can see somehing like that happening.
