Can anyone recommend a company to do more of a deep tine residential lawn aeration? Probably 1/2-3/4 acre
West Houston/Katy area
Thanks in advance.

I think you'll like it. I have a 40" Brinly-Hardy and am generally pretty pleased. I think the Agrifab handle will be much better as I have to get off the mower to raise and lower the wheels and the side handle will drop so low that it hits my left rear tire if I turn too tightly. I had to rig up a bracket to keep it from doing that but I shouldn't have had to - I think that handle on the Agrifab will be much better.Watchful Ag said:
OP - I'm really close to pulling the trigger on an aerator for my house in Katy. It'll calm the wife down if she knows I already have a job lined up with it. What were you looking to spend?
FYI - Here's the aerator I'm currently considering.

That looks like the exact same aerator I have and with cinder blocks, it works great! Owning my own, I use it pretty often, in fact, I used mine Wednesday. I tend to watch the weather forecast and aerate just before it rains, then after, when the soil is nice and soft. A few years ago, I aerated, then spread fertilizer, then a light coat of sand to help keep things loose. We got several inches of rain slowly, over the next few days. I swear I could lay in bed and hear the friggin grass growing.Watchful Ag said:
