There was a thread awhile back discussing archery targets. One I had never heard of at the time and damned if I can remember what it was or find the old thread.

I guess I'm just looking for recommendations, but I really liked what was in the other thread. A whole bunch of y'all were recommending it.

Gonna be me and two kids shooting field tips the large majority of the time. Broadheads very sparingly when it comes time.

BH target wont do well with a soft target just an fyi. i have one target for FTs and one for BHs.

The thread just below this titled "outdoors knows stuff" has a great example of "targets" in it.

Although I wouldn't shoot broadheads at one, it is hard to beat an Indiangrass target. Plus they are cool.

Rhinehart targets are the best and worth the money.

To this day, we have an old one in south Tx that has Mack Brown's big head on one side and Chrissy Simms glued to the other side. You can barely make it out that its them but people laugh every time they see it.

That is a prefect representation of what I have been searching for, and targets.

Rhinehart are good targets, but man they are so dense. I have to tip mine backwards (so the arrows are pointing up) and stand on it to pull them out. And definitely don't shoot broadheads into it, unless you want to leave a few in there...

Check this one out, should last you for quite some time. Probably overkill though.

Pretty happy with my matrix target. It's absorbed at least a thousand arrows, only had to replace 2 hexes so far. It's also a nice size for stretching shots out to 80-90 yards.

I've had a Spyder for years. Love it but can't shoot broadheads at it.
