This one is way out there and I had no idea where to post this and eventually decided on the OB because y'all know the most.

Long story short my wife is working on listing a house of an older gentleman she's gotten to know and on top of that he's got an old antique clown collection that we are looking to help him get appraised. Before you laugh we've looked a couple of items up and they seem to be with something but there are just too many for us to handle with confidence. Any help with leads who can get this done would be greatly appreciated.

Outdoor related because I walked out of my front door to post this. (Also, y'all know stuff).

Where are you located? My aunt does estate sales and might be able to help with the clowns.

Wow. That's a needle in the haystack type question, but I'll 'share' my 'knowledge'.

Auctioneers will, for a fee, appraise collections. I wouldn't contact the guy down the street who's auctioning farm equipment, though.

Check the internet for 'collectibles' auctioneers. They exist. Send them good pics of everything you've got, offer to pay their fee, and I'll bet they'll 'give' you an appraisal.

FWIW, I'm not in the market for that type of merchandise. I've got my own stuff that my wife will probably pitch into a roll-off dumpster and call it a day.
