I was just scrolling through Facebook and saw a sponsored ad about boots that looked awfully similar to a Tecovas ad. Turns out RTIC is getting into the boot market.

Direct to consumer Internet sales with a flagship store or stores is definitely becoming more of a trend even in the more economy products.

The nice thing about the Cuero boots is that you can actually try them on at the RTIC store up off 290. I'd be interested to see how they look in person. Saw that they have some new styles (square toe, exotics, etc.) dropping in May.

My thought exactly, I'd be willing to pay $100+ bucks less and drive up to Hempstead and try em on.

I generally agree, but my Tecovas experience couldn't have been easier. I dialed in what I thought would be the perfect fit. Got em in the mail and tried them on. According to their own description of how it should feel, I realized I was a half-size too big. Went online to do the replacement...dropped them off at UPS store and before they got back to the warehouse my updated boots arrived and fit perfectly. Most comfortable boots i've ever owned.

Anyone got theirs yet? I just took a shot on 2 pair. Free return shipping is very enticing to give anything a try. Much easier than driving across town to the Tecovas shop.

Ordered 2, both going back. I dont normally wear wide, but I'm gonna have to in these. Build quality looks pretty good. Took 2 days to get here. Hopefully the exchange process is simple... I do a lot of online stuff, but it'd sure be a lot easier for me to take these in and swap in person than to drop at a UPS, then wait for them to get me a new pair sent out...

Ordered the Vincent (slip on work boot) and Cavalier, both came today. Ordered both in 10D. The Vincent feels possibly too short and too narrow - I feel it would stretch, but how much? The Cavalier feels right length wise, but my foot is wide up front, narrow in the heel - and there's a bit more heel slip than I'm used to. Not sure yet if I'll keep - I guess that's how internet boot shopping goes.

The last 3 non work boots I've bought have been 10B Rios of Mercedes - nothing I've tried on comes close to that fit for me. I wear a 9.5D Ariat workboot.
