The best part of Boat N Net is that you don't have to get dressed up for it like if you was going to Long John Silvers.Nosh said:

Years ago it used to be the spot. Bought seasonal fish that was fresh etc. Now all they buy is from Sysco and US Foods. All frozen. Nothing fresh. Even the shrimp is bought frozen from Contessa (I believe).CavitationAG said:
Grew up down there and if I was picking somewhere for a trip it would be Water Street Oyster Bar (mentioned above). Haven't been in 3-4 years but it was always good.
For fried food I love Charlotte Plummer's in Rockport. It is on the water and I do believe it survived the hurricane. Some nostalgia involved there but for fried seafood we always loved it.
Need to try this place.Quote:
La Ribera is some of the best seafood I've had in Corpus. Born and raised there. It is also very affordable. On the shadier side of town though

Scuttlebutts makes a great Shrimp Po'Boy but i think the rest of their menu is fairly generic. Cool atmosphere though.
