I hit one in my neighborhood in Spring a couple of years ago and the deer flew about 10 feet in the air across the grassy median and landed in the street going the opposite direction. I drive a Silverado and it didn't leave a single mark on my truck. Dropped the wife and kids off at the house and drove back with my pistol less than 5 minutes later and she was dead. I was amazed that there was no evidence on my truck that I even hit the deer.

Might be a Ford Focus, not that it matters.
