Hey Almighty OB, what would you consider a reasonable cost for running 5 wire fence in Medina County? Got a recent estimate and trying to justify the cost versus past expectations. Also, what would be reasonable cost to clear the fence line along the same run? Thanks in advance...

A lot of unknown variables here but assuming it is a decent size project, $2.75/ft on the low end, $4.50 on the high.

$1/ft to clear, give or take, plus mobilization.

The clearing I'm less certain on.

My last quote for 5 wire was 11k a mile installed, but that's in Howard county where there's relatively thin brush.

Just had about 3,000 LF of 6-strand done for around $9K which included a couple of small creek reinforcements.

Fence line was already cleared.
