Some folks on here have or had some interesting boats. I'm sure there's more that haven't posted up yet.

Past, present, or future. Big or small, salt or fresh. Let's see and hear about your boats.

Some examples that come to mind:
  • MouthBQ98 and his homemade boat
  • Sunchaser running home made scooters up to the landcut
  • Rufnek and his Potter seacraft restoration
  • Hopeandrealchange prepping for the great loop
  • WP69 and the Albury that's on the auto board but not here
  • BurrOak's Bayliner restoration

I have a 2012 25 Mowdy Cat with 250 sazuki. I'll try and find some good pics. Been a great boat. Runs shallow and can handle rough water as well. Stays in Matagorda.

No wrong genre, but I'm disappointed in you... so much mbg love and you went off and bought a ski boat.

That's me. It's going... Slowly.

Sold my 18' Gulf Coast Classic and had Uncle J build me a flat-bottomed mod v bow aluminum18x48 with a souped up Gator Tail 25 horse on the back.

I built the 10' pirogue that rides on the pirogue racks.

The MBG is next. Have two small kids now and the family ski boat jumped the MBG in priority.

A boat was better than no boat.

I grew up waterskiing and still love it.

Plus my dad still has his 20' gulf coast for bay fishing.

it might still be stuck on a mud flat at low tide

Everyone who has ever owned a boat has a similar type story. One of the many benefits of owning a boat. You learn a lot about yourself in how you handle these types of situations.

21' and 23' are pretty close in size even if the WA whaler is a lot more boat. Seems like quite a bit of operational overlap. Ever find yourself wishing you had just one?

Pics? I don't know if I've seen kayak, sup, or pirogue racks on such a narrow boat before.

Careful posting that pic you might catch a ban or get this thread nuked...

I run a 2001 Malibu response in the summers. Love drinking beer boating, music, a little fishing, swimming and playing with the dog!

My fishing partner has a 97 or 98 Pathfinder.

this is absolutely no bull***** I do a LOT of hunting laying on the ground. practically all of it. i dont like taco stand blinds. so as the tide moved out i am losing my cover and having to move decoys further and further out and im just laying in my jet sled 20 or so yards away. im honestly not paying much attention because the birds obviously havent been around all day. well i get a dumbass little group of blue bill to show up and manage to cripple one and its sailing off to my left back behind me and a freaking hawk appears out of the bushes and catches the damn thing in mid flight and flies off. i am not making this up at all. AT ALL. it was the most insane thing i have ever seen. i even let one fly in the hawks general direction and it didnt flinch. i walked half the bank looking for that hawk and bluebill where i thought he took it to no avail. i mean, it was pure insult to injury.

Finn before a ban hammer, I think.

I'll post about my refitting project when I get around to it. I'm going to make a few modifications and fix a couple of bugs in the hull while I am at it. This time it'll get a bottom coat of black graphite/epoxy to toughen up the bottom.
