My ten year wedding anniversary is coming up this summer and I'm looking for ideas on a trip to take. We'll most likely drive there and stay a couple days. I know the outdoor board is always good for a few good ideas. Restaurant recommendations also warranted. Thanks.

Check out Angel's Lodge B&B in Fredericksburg. It's very nice, secluded, but still within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, not overly expensive, has a great breakfast set-up, can get picked up there for wine tours, has a nice pool.... it's legit. We will be going back for sure.

Starting point is in Wyoming. I forgot to include that. We drive a lot so I don't really mind some distance.

I second Banff!! But if you are looking for warmer temps, hit up the gulf coast or the Caribbean. Check out the travel board as well.

Banff sounds like a good place. I'll run through the travel thread you posted. I rarely look at other boards but it looks like there's some good info in that thread.

Looks amazing! If we don't do that this trip, I'll put it on my list for future trips. Same with Scotland and Key West. Would love to go to both of those some day.

Laramie is home so we drive through Wheatland fairly often. The only place i've stopped at is the A&W though.
