Last weekend, I needed to buy 20 bags of deer corn on the way to the lease. I usually stop at the Bucees in Luling for corn and other hunting stuff, but since I was already stopped at Bucees in Katy to get gas and food, when I was inside paying I went ahead and asked the check-out gal to add 20 bags. Figured it would save me some time to not have to stop again in another couple of hours.
After I had already paid, I asked the gal where to go pick up the corn at. She told me the corn was located at the front of the store next to the main entrance; there wasn't anywhere for me to drive right next to the pallet of corn to load up my truck.
I was able to park in a spot pretty close to the corn, but I then had to load 20 bags of deer corn by myself from the edge of the store to my truck 30 feet away.
I carried them 2 bags at a time until the nice Bucees man offered to help by letting me use his dinky corn hauler cart; it ended up taking me more time to haul 8 bags with the corn hauler l than if I had just kept carrying them 2 at a time.
Keep in mind that all of this was while trying to navigate little kids running in to get jerky and icee's and people who were in a hurry to get to the cleanest bathrooms in Texas.
By the time I loaded the 20th bag I was wore plum out.
So, next time I need deer corn I'm getting it in Luling.
