Bay does a lot of things but they are heavily skewed towards heavy civil work.

I have zero first hand knowledge of how it turned out, but they were one of the final contractors M&G brought on board when they started running out of money and everyone else was walking off the job. They might be sour on energy type stuff right now.

You are correct on M&G, but they will turn out ok on that job. Most of what they do is industrial...turnarounds, tanks, pressure vessels, etc. Basically any heavy welding projects.

I know a guy who owns a pipeline company. Could he maybe help you?
If he knew of good pipeline engineers and pipeline contractors not already mentioned. Your emoticon makes wonder if I'm missing sarcasm...lol.

You might also look at Power Engineers. They have quite a few offices in Texas and can help you with the engineering and the environmental side. Http://www.powereng.com

Full disclosure, my wife (class of 92) works in their environmental group (no rule #1 here). She can get you specific local contacts if you are interested.

Looks like there may be some competitive overlap of them and my company. I'll add them to the list for looking into more. If we want to contact them, I'll reach back out to you.

Thanks. We have all EI&C covered internally for engineering and with partners for construction.

Usoos definitely has spot on advise.

My best advise: hire a project manager that knows what they are doing. They will have all the contacts and know how to execute a successful pipeline project. Pipeline/midstream is a very niche market and very relationship driven.

Good pipeline construction companies do NOT do engineering and vise versa. Also, pipeline projects are totally different animals than the facility side.

Right now, GOOD pipeline Welder's in the Permian Basin make more than surgeons. Pipeline projects are paying top dollar for good work right now.

No sarcasm. Send me an email to info@1911-grips.com and I'll put you in touch with him. He's an Ag, too.

Lots of good input from the above posters. I currently work for one of the engineering/design/construction management firms listed on this thread and can certainly help get you going in the right direction.

I've also got close ties with CECO Pipeline as well as a few other companies depending on the size and scale of the project I know I can get you in contact with the right personnel there. Be on the look out for an email.
