When I was a kid in the mid 70s and we'd road trip to Texas to visit Grandma in Longview, the armadillo was always a unique and revered mammal in my kid brain. I'd never think of purposely killing one.

So now after living here for 38 years and having somewhat limited dealings with them, like annoyingly scratching and digging underneath the cabin at deer camp in the middle of the night, I shrug it off and still think that offing one would be pointless.

To each his own.

And hell, after turning 50 this summer, yeah I'm getting soft on stuff like this.

Serious question why not take a garden hose and stick in the burrow and turn it on until said critter comes out? Then dispose as you wish

Buy gopher smoke bombs from Lowe's or Home Depot. Light a couple and seal the entrance. Problem solved.

I've done this. Several times.

I am. I've killed 2 in the past three weeks at my house.

I look at them as a smaller scale hog in a pasture. They can do a lot of damage quick in a yard. And they're ugly.

Put down some claymores.

Pee on it.

I heard that Chlorox and ammonia form an sinking gas when mixed..... They can also kill you if done wrong...

Stay up all night until he exits....make sure you are wearing flip flops and drinking you favorite libation while waiting......when he exits run straight at him and boot him like a field goal kicker!!!! Let us know how it worked out .

I've seen people selling aluminum ant hill castings for $$. Maybe there is money in armadillo hole casting.
