I plan on sbring and suppressing my 12" G3 clone. Should make a fun hog hammer.

Would you recommend a PTR P.D.W. with a brace? I have been contemplating picking one up for awhile but know very little about them and have never seen one with a brace in person. I think that that combination with a suppressor would make for an awesome hog rig.

Lever action 30-30. Brand makes little difference to me.

A .308 will knock them dead. I've also used my mini 14 .223. Just make sure you have an expanding bullet.

Hog hunting is fun!

It's been carried in the field at least now...but no. Had a few people tell they've seen hogs and wanted them gone, got there and not even sign of hogs on the property.

It's also currently 2 states away with the rest of my toys until I get in a house

I think PTR uses the PDW nominclature for both their 8" and 12" guns. I had one of the 8" guns. It was a fun combination firearm/flashbang/flamethrower. Beyond that...meh.

The one I kept was their 12" version, also called the K3P I think?

That one is a fun little gun and I wouldn't mind taking hogs with it. I have a brace on mine. Give me a few minutes and I'll get some pics for you.

Yea on the 12" version, pass on the MP5 sized 8" gun.

Need to sbr the 12" gun so I can put the collapsible stock from the 18" gun on it, and get off my butt and get a couple of suppressors for both the pistols and the 12".

I'm in North East Mississippi, good news is I'll be able to deer hunt on base and turkey hunt at an auxiliary field next season. Toys get to come here over Christmas
