What time would I need to get to Snows to get some food? Is it still available around 11 or is it gone by then normally?

Best way to do it? Call in on Friday, tell them what you want to order and what time you want to pick up. They'll have it cut and wrapped for you.

I did this back in February, on a balmy ~70F Saturday. Left College Station around 8am, got there around 10:30, and got food a few minutes before noon. There were about a dozen people behind me that got food, so I just barely got in.

What time should we be there if we were to go on the weekend of the Clemson game?
It's not worth it. Don't waste your time. Try somewhere else.duddleysdraw88 said:
Is there really any food worth waiting in that long of a line for?
That's pretty much how I feel about it too. I'm sure the BBQ here and at Franklin is damn tasty and worth the wait for some, and I really would like to try both places. But I've had excellent BBQ that I thought could not possibly be any tastier, and there's no way in hell I would wait hours in a line to try it.duddleysdraw88 said:

So, as has been stated in this thread, CALL AHEAD!BurrOak said:That's pretty much how I feel about it too. When you call ahead is there a separate line or do you pick it up at the same place?

When you do get there, don't go inside. All to-go orders are handled at the pits. Go see Larissa and she'll take care of it!
I haven't done it at Snows, but I have ordered ahead of time at Franklin's several times. They do have some picnic tables at the pre-order pickup area. I've never eaten there as I tend to pick up their BBQ in August and my sister's place is just a few minutes away.duddleysdraw88 said:Rex Racer said:So, as has been stated in this thread, CALL AHEAD!BurrOak said:That's pretty much how I feel about it too. So are there really deckheads that call in, pick it up and sit down and eat it right in front of everybody waiting in line?
You can also order online. I would pick it up "to go", myself.duddleysdraw88 said:Rex Racer said:So, as has been stated in this thread, CALL AHEAD!BurrOak said:That's pretty much how I feel about it too.
