CZ Shadow 2 with full Cajun Gun Works package for USPSA Production, including their springs, firing pin, race hammer, reach reduction kit and their new barrel bushing. 3 lbs single action, 5 lbs 10 oz double action, 1mm reset (reset is insane, I'll get video later tonight). Barrel lockup with this bushing is also really impressive, it should be a damned accurate gun.

Going to try to make it out to steel challenge to break it in tonight.

Really excited about this one.

One of the guys I shoot steel challenge with regularly already hates me for letting him try the trigger on my other Shadow. He's been shooting Glocks in competition (so did I when I started...still do occasionally) and now really wants a CZ.

I'm planning to really piss him off tonight and let him put a few rounds through this one after the match.

His wallet and wife are going to hate me.

Well I have a new excuse...trigger is too good.

Going to take me a bit to transition back to DA/SA, especially with a reset as short as this gun has. Gun shot great, trigger was awesome, zero failures of any kind...I just have a lot of work to do to get used to it. Wasn't my worst performance ever but I didn't do great last night. Finished 4th out of the centerfire pistol guys. Two of those guys beat me regularly, the third I usually beat if I'm using a gun I've actually shot before so I have some work to do.

The gun is phenomenal though. I'm really going to like it once I've got the trigger nailed.

ETA: I'll try to get video of the match and showing off the trigger today or tomorrow.

Is that the reach reduction trigger? I am going to replace the trigger on mine because the takeup in single action is crazy long and mushy. I just haven't really decided if I should get the shorter trigger.....

I have a video I need to upload. Take up, break and reset in single action are all crazy short. Amazing trigger now.

I was rushed for time this morning and it's only a crappy cell pic, but I am slowly improving on my "wheel of CZs" too.

I have a few more I want to pick up, but the collection is coming along nicely.

Actually made it to the range to try and get used to the trigger. Glad I have more than 100 round through the gun now...it was really bothering me that I'd only shot it once.

Because it's set up for SAO with a flat trigger the SP-01 Shadow is still a slightly nicer trigger than the Shadow 2, but it's a very close contest.
