6.5 Grendel with a 20" fluted Faxon barrel. I'm in love with the 17.5" Odin Works Ragna forend but I have been watching it for 3 months and it is always out of stock. I'm considering the 15.5" Ragna or the O2 Lite but I really had my heart set on the 17.5" Ragna. Before I pull the trigger on the 15.5", does anybody have a recommendation on any other handguards that they like. I already have an Aero on my .223 Wylde that I like but want something different and I'm not into the goofy Punisher handguards and all that junk

Oh, and I have a few guns in shop with the O2... I love that handguard.

Here's one that we built up as a light weight. Love this gun

My Grendel has a 20" barrel as well. I went with an 18" handguard from Midwest Industries.

Alg makes some high quality free float rails that are affordable, lightweight, and have options to mount accessories if needed.

UTG makes a nice handguard that is 17"-17.5". It was what I originally was going to put on my rifle.

UTGs are very good handguards for the price.

Second the Midwest Industries. Have a 15.5 Inch K-Mod Gen 3 on my most recent build.

Great product and easy install.

I have 3 or 4 Midwest Industries handguards. They are perfect for what I need.

I've always felt Midwest Industries was the right balance of fit/function and cost. They are my go to on builds.

Oh, one thing to be aware of since UTG was mentioned, and this happens a lot, some handguards align themselves with metal tabs that fit over the upper. No biggie if you are using a standard forged upper, but it isn't, you may want to look into how they align. DTA's Armadillo Custom Lower that we did had that problem. Annoying as hell on our end.

Noveske Keymod.
We may not always get what we want. We may not always get what we need. Just so we don't get what we deserve.
