Tough to get live shrimp on Galveston right now for some reason, apparently you gotta get there before 7 or catch the noon/1:00 boat

I was at the Texas City Dike by 5:15am on Saturday. Boyd's had zero live shrimp and Lee's didn't open until 5:45am (supposed have been 5 but they were cleaning tanks apparently). There were probably 30 people in front of me when I got there, and didn't walk out with shrimp until after 6. Tons of shrimp boats running all over the place so not sure what's up but you're not wrong.
