Any owners on here? How do you like it? Should I get it with the carbine forend and flash can or without? I would definitely brace it and probably add a pistol can at some point. Thanks.

I have it in a carbine. I was shooting it this weekend and it's just fun. I am contemplating getting a brace and pistol barrel, but I've been holding out thinking HPA would happen and I could get a suppressor to go with it. Now it seems like too much expense to go through for what is really just a fun ranch rifle.

I had one of the very first ones to drop. I loved it. The only reason I don't still have it is that I got an itch for something nicer... a PS90. Great gun for the money though the other ones that are similar are nicer, but have a much higher price point as well. Is it an MP5, Vector, or MPX? Nah, but it doesn't try to be. Nor does it compete with them. MP5 and B&T are the top dogs, followed by the Vector and MPX. Then you have the sub2k and the Scorpion and then finally hipoints (oddly enough good little guns, but why did they have to make them single stack?). Haven't played with Ruger's new one yet.

EyeGuy set me up with one in FDE about a month ago. I took it out to a buddy's ranch an it was a hoot to shoot. It was difficult to make follow up shots, so I added a folding brace with the ATF opinion in mind. Rather than spend $120+ on a tactical bag or cut foam hard case, I bought a large padded laptop bag off Amazon for $30. I need to get back to EyeGuy to pick up the optics I ordered. I'll post pictures later.

Ordered an FDE pistol this morning from a local shop, will pick it up next week. Also ordered some goodies from Parker Mountain Machine, HB Industries, and Gear Head Works. Just trying to decide which brace to get. I am tempted to get a GHW tailhook, but don't like that it won't lock open because of the tailhook. Does the SBT brace lock open?

I'm pretty dense so I have to ask even after reading through a few times...In the eyes of the ATF I cab attach the SBTEVO to the pistol CZ Scorpion and still have a pistol correct?

So I am leaning towards the GHW tailhook because it uses the factory folding mechanism. That looks like a good cheek weld, and if I SBR it later I already have most of the parts for the stock. But I don't like that it doesn't lock open like the SBT evo.

What do you need to attach the brace to the pistol? Parts? Tools?
My scorpion is currently in pieces as I very slowly install the HBI trigger, charging handle and change the forend to Magpul.
It would be a good time to install a brace.

What do you scorpion guys use for mag pouches? I don't see many mag pouch options online. I want to use this gun in some classes, but I am already running two rifle and two pistol tacos on my gun belt. I don't think I have room for anything else. Might have to get another belt to switch out or get a plate carrier?

If you weren't in any kind of hurry to purchase, what does anyone think of the Scorpion S2 Micro that is coming out this summer?
Already has a brace and K barrel (micro K , 4") and shortened handguard. Based off MSRPs alone ($850 vs $1150, no street price on the s2 to compare to yet), converting the S1 would definitely cost more to build (yeah, i know that is half the fun) or you could leave the 7.75" barrel and be in for cheaper. My friend put the HB industries k barrel and hand guard and on his and really made me like the gun a lot more personally.

I definitely gave that a hard look. But with Republicans now talking about getting rid of "scary" guns, I decided not to wait any longer. It does look sweet though.
