Saturdays group canceled due to the weather and wind. Sunday I took some family out that wanted to fill the cooler with some catfish fillets. Air Temp was 41 degrees but water was 66 and the shad were thick on the bulkhead. The bite was fantastic we had limits by 10:30 and were off the water. We got into the Hybrids very good caught around 20 all were short fish but still super fun to catch.

Congratulations. We couldn't get cats to bite at all today at Somerville. We did hit two different schools of whites that birds found for us. It was awesome.

Triple 7 ,yes run trips on Lake Conroe mostly.

Do non-farm raised catfish taste good? I thought they were trash/bottom feeders.

The Sea gulls have been hanging around much later this year on the lake. Actually last week I got into what i thought was top water Hybrids but turned out to be big ass school of Yellow Bass. Never have seen anything like it.
