Any recommendations on a company that can do gravel road on clay soil, even if it's slightly muddy. The road would be roughly 1300' and needs to be 12' wide. Also, a few mesquites (3-4 small ones) would need to be cleared for road. The property is located near Gause, TX. I'd need this done ASAP.

If you get a general cost to do this type of work in Gause, please share (PM is fine as well). I'd love to get some work done and just need to get my dad off the ball on it (always tough to get him to use contractors--maybe some ballpark costs would help get us started).

I got quoted about $10/ft a few weeks back. I haven't shopped that around yet to see if that's a reasonable price. I need about 3200 ft so at that number I may be just sticking with dirt.

I've got 1400 feet that needs reshaping and a bit of a top layer. I can spread the gravel, but the dozer work would go much faster with an expert, plus I need the gravel delivered.

They did 1300' crowned gravel road with heavy clay compacted underneath, drainage culverts, cleared some mesquites with heavy dozer, installed new barbed wire fence with gate, as well as dug a pond for 25k. I checked out all the people y'all recommended, and they were the best! Awesome to work with, too! Very professional!
