Since I'm an FFL, you can ship to me. You sell to someone on the board and ship to me then I transfer them out.

And a lot of Ags that come into the store can attest, I try not to buy guns from people on Texags. I encourage them to post up here for sale. It's a situation where I have to control my buying costs to make sure I don't end up underwater on a gun, so I have very set buying prices from everyone. That being said, sometimes it makes sense to sell to me. I've had a few posters who just didn't want to deal with the hassle or needed money right then. For the latter, I also told them that if they were able to get solvent on money and I had not sold the items yet, that I'd sell them back at a significant discount. A couple have actually been able to take me up on that, which I was very happy with. Helped them out of a tight spot. Sure I made a few bucks, but it wasn't a ton and I do have a business to run.

I am not trying to be rude, just honest...but I have been shopping for a new gun to EDC and have been looking at either a g2 or a shield and I've been seeing the g2's for around $199-$245 (cabelas has them for 199, academy for 230 and buds for 244) and the shields for $319-$375. I don't know what the store is offering but it's going to be hard imo to find someone to buy a NIB But used G2 for $329.
I sent you an email. Shoot me the pics and I'll post them up here for you to help out. I'm considering the G2. But I don't want to waste your time as I am a slow buyer and probably won't buy either gun until summer and it sounds like you need a sale quicker than I will be ready.

From what I gather, he knows he isn't going to get what he paid. Just saying what he paid for them. Just trying to maximize that, which is understandable. Btw, from what I read, didn't sound ride at all.

You can't mail a firearm to anyone that doesn't have their FFL, unless you have an FFL, regardless of location.

Incorrect. You may legally ship firearms to a non-licensee in your same state. Problem is getting a counter clerk who understands and follows the law.
Good to know! I always thought that either the sender or recipient had to have their FFL.
Common mistake. Another one that trips people up is face to face personal transfers, they are only legal if both seller and buyer reside in same state.

Well someone emailed me and we worked a deal while you were trying to tell me what I could and couldn't get for it. While I appreciate the attempt at an offer I didn't see an offer. Also you kinda made it clear that 700 for a new 700 AR, with 2 30rd mags & 90rds was going to break your bank. So what was I supposed to do give you the gun?
PS... Since this post is getting derailed. I'm going to hang on to the other G2 & the Fieldmaster 572.
