Interesting.... I heard that Hornady was working on an expanding subsonic round... Will need to try a box or two and see how it works. $1.15 a round is not bad if it works.

I've had good luck with the Beck Ammunition (194 gr Lehigh bullet) in my Ruger Ranch rifle. One shot kills on 150-200# hogs up to 100 yards. It's expensive at almost $2 a squeeze. But it works....

Doesn't Hornady already have the 208 grain A-Max? That's what I use when hunting hogs suppressed, so far it has a 100% kill rate as far out as 125-150 yards.

Hornady does have a 208 grain AMax subsonic round. It is effective taking head shots on hogs for me. If you're taking a heart/lung shot the AMax does not expand at subsonic speeds. I've had to chase a few down...
