Going to have access (private lake I think?) to brooks lake this weekend. Has anyone ever fished it or know anything about it? Only thing i could find on Google machine were a couple houses for sale and records on several old lawsuits between the homeowners and developer/homeowner association. Supposedly a spring fed lake? Rumor is it has bass and saw something that said rainbow trout?? Would be awesome if some white bass running but it looks kind of landlocked.....
Any info appreciated.

I have a place on Lake Hawkins and I've never even heard of it. Many years ago, there were some decent bass in Lake Hawkins, but nothing much to speak of recently.

It's about 6-7 miles north of Hawkins...tad west of 3909. I fished it one day a long, long, long time ago........
