All I can say is HOLY CRAP!

Was randomly searching for land for sale in my county, and ran across this property.

Turns out it is within a few miles of property I own. And "Bender" and I have been on this property many, many times. One of his childhood friends lived there. However, that was over a decade ago, when the previous owner had it. And before the current owner spent $4,000,000 to turn it into the ultimate Zombie Apocalypse Survival Shelter for 22 people. Has it's own well, water storage, generator, positive pressure air filtration, etc. The perfect place for your NBC attack.

I had no idea any of this was under construction. But I recognized the general terrain, and some of the background in some of the photos narrowed it down enough that I was able to go to Google Maps and confirm. I won't reveal the location, as the realtor did not reveal it. But enjoy the description and photos. Many more, and complete description at web site.

Oh, and why is he selling it at a loss? Public records show the current owners, husband and wife, were divorced in March 2017.

Just saying, the Realtor did everything but give it away. A browsing of contours and a sat map of the area let me pretty much nail it down.

But someone is truly nervous. Wonder why that divorce happened?

How do you market that to anybody who isn't terrified of EVERYTHING?

You either find MAYBE a prepper, in a paranoid rush, at an inflated price or you get nearly nothing for the "investments" on a 200 acre "ranch"

It is definitely impressive, but I'm wondering if the Ex took some items or maybe they don't convey with the sale because I didn't see any liquor. No way I'm going to survive the zombies sober.

Almost anything.

From April to October. After that, you're on your own. Same for citrus or other tropical stuff like bananas,

That long? The Google Maps picture showing the roads around the "confidential" location pinpointed it pretty quickly.

Really? Do you?

Not sure why anyone is surprised it's easy to find. I mean, when you are trying to sell 200 acres for nearly 3 million dollars in that location, you really want to get as much info to as many people as possible because its going to take more of a 'sucker' factor AND you've narrowed your prospective buyers to a bit of a fringe demographic. LOL.

Before it became the ZAS, it was a pretty nice piece of property on the creek (not flowing) with a spring on the property. Decent house, but great views. There was a spring on the property. Once when Bender and his friend were down in the creek bottom, his friend's dad hollered for the friend and a wild turkey gobbled back.

But a ranch on one side put in a small feedlot, and a gravel pit on the other side put an access road down the property line. So it kind of lost its luster.
