The wife and I are interested in getting away from the kids for a weekend. Instead of hitting up downtown Austin, we decided that we would like to go fly fishing. I figured that the Guadalupe is probably out best bet here in Central Texas.

Are there any fly fishing guides on this board, or can anyone recommend a fly fishing guide, that works the Guadalupe?

Neither of us have fly fished before, but we do have extensive rod and reel fishing experience. We'd be looking to spend between $350-$450 for a day trip.

Went with him on 12/30/17 and he put a buddy and myself on all the Rainbow Trout we could handle as well as the mythical Monster Striped Bass that eat the rainbows!

He knows the river, fish, and proper fly selection like the back of his hand.

Check out his instagram feed and you will see he is consistently landing a bunch of fish! It was amazing to see him paddle us into his honey hole spots along the 6-8 miles of good trout fishing and put us on fish while the other anglers on the river just stared at us and kept asking what flies we were using.

Highly recommend.
