Unless it specifically says otherwise on the bottle I don't see why not. Might fill up before running it empty to step it down. I'm glad I saw this thread though, I added some anti gel additive from the company that makes Diesel Kleen. Got down in the negatives here and its been so long since I filled it up I doubt I have the winter blend.
