Just wondering what your wait time from the time you submitted all the paperwork to the state until you had the license in hand was? I submitted all my paperwork on November 20th.

Ive had several students get their license at the 4 week mark. Things are moving pretty quickly

I did mine in October and it was 3-4 weeks.

Just FYI the website is always behind what is happening. at about 2 weeks check to make sure everything is in. If I remember right it was typically updated Thursday or Friday.

Good to know. I checked this morning and it is saying my background is under review. I'll check again Friday to see if it has changed!

Mine stayed that way until it showed printing. That was like a Thursday then I had it in had the following Tuesday. (Monday was a Holiday) It is not the same for everyone. My buddy recently got his and it showed printing for 2 weeks then shipped for close to a week.

Mine took 21 days. I think his was 45 once everything was in. He forgot to send something in at first so he was probably at the bottom of the stack.

I sent everything almost a month before my course completion certificate.

Completed mine with prints on the 20th as well. Same status as yours.

Just checked the status and it says my background check is complete. Print pending is the only one yellow now. 14 days so far.

Did mine in September and it took about 2-3 weeks.

Same for me.

Count yourselves lucky. I'd have to check, but I think it took ~110 days when I applied.

Mine was 3 months +/- a few days.

When did the price of an LTC drop to $40? I wonder if a bunch of folks were waiting and now the wait times have increased.

It dropped in September. It sounds like the wait time has gone down though.

18 days and waiting. Background check still under review.

I take the class Saturday. Hopefully my turnaround time is as short as some of you guys.

Got mine in 2 weeks

Took ours on the 28th.

Background is all that's left for the wife and mine is the same plus fingerprints under review; which is par for the course considering we did everything at the same time.

Been 35 days for me. Although I am assuming Holidays have something to do with that?

Wondering if govt shut down could have anything to do with the background check portion of it?

TBH, I was more of a knucklehead back in the day and got a DUI back in 2011 (barely over limit if it makes any diff) and I'm wondering if that is what is taking so long. Hope they don't reject on that basis but we'll see. The LTC instructor seemed to think it would not be an issue since it was over 5 yrs ago.

I think if you are squeaky clean, it goes right through the system automatically. If you have anything on your record at all, a human has to look at it. Just a theory but my wife got her license in the mail 2wks after submitting the paper work and she's never had even a speeding ticket. Mine took a couple of weeks longer.

Took about 4-weeks for my renewal, but I will blame the holidays and I did not need it until May anyways.

Granted it was March of last year; mine was printed within three days of me submitting my packet and in my mailbox within four days of printing. I also went the military route for my application so I don't know if that helped speed everything up.

Took class today 1/8/19, already had fingerprinting done on 12/27, submitted class cert after 5 pm today, will update when I receive it....

License arrived today. 14 days.
