Looking to replace some camp chairs that we've worn out and I seem to be doing this once every other year or so. Hoping the outdoors board has some suggestions on a brand/style that you've all been happy with that's lasted longer.

had a couple of these for 5-6 years. cool, comfortable, and supportive. they're still in great shape after years of use.

We actually moved to some chairs kind of like this for around the outside poker table, on the porch, etc. We still have a few cheap camp chairs laying around, but even the wal-mart brand have lasted well for us for 3-4 years. Fold them up, put them in the sleeve, and inside the cabin when we leave.

I bought a couple of Cabelas XL Quad chairs. Lifetime warranty on them. My wife already got one replaced after our beagle pup destroyed it.

Yes. Great camp chairs.

Pros - injected mold plastic, leather seating, magic finger massage feature, Tumbler holders

Cons - weighs 650 pounds empty, costs $2499.00

But you get a cool sticker for your truck.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

This. I got them after getting fed up with all of my cheap chairs. These are built rock solid. All of my friends and family quickly bought their own after I got mine. They're really good chairs.

Edit: I looked at Academy's customer reviews and saw that one of the bigest complaints was something that I nearly posted myself. It does not fold up with the same motion that other chairs do and if you don't know how to do it, it's nearly impossible. But it's super easy. Stand behind the back of the chair, grab the front of the arm rests, and pull the chair back against you and slightly up. Once the arms come back, the rest of the chair follows. Really not that difficult and not enough to knock it as much as some of the reviewers did.

Kijaro Dual Lock

Most comfortable chair I've tried. I like that you don't sink into it, plus it folds up and locks closed and has a built in sling so you can carry without the damn sleeve.

I've got 2 of these, that i got from Sierra trading post. Theyre great. Mine are under the brand name "equip", but they're identical to the ones from dicks. I haven't actually used them camping, but for hanging out on the driveway or whatever, they're awesome.

We have the Rockers with built-in shock absorbers. I regularly sit through 5 baseball games each weekend and these are great.

Most expensive goes to the Chama chair. Looks great and all but oooooph on the price tag.

Really like the GCI Outdoor Freestyle Rocker. Comes in Aggie Maroon. Turned my baseball parents on to it this past fall season.

I like the lounge style chairs. I have a couple similar to this. Great for taking naps at deer camp.

Do NOT buy any chair but one like this. They are worth their weight in sweet tea & DOSS t-shirts.

Seriously, I backpack with this chair because they are so comfortable(I don't actually backpack with them but you get the idea).

I'll second this chair. By far the most comfortable fold-up chair I have used.
