I was thinking about just buying some Pilgrims Frozen chicken wings at walmart and throwing them on the grill tonight. anyone ever do that? Do they turn out pretty good?

I do this quite often on game days. I'll season them with some Head Country or whatever else I have and grill them at 350-400 until they're done. They're always a hit.

Top notch. Coat in oil. Season how you want. Cook medium heat making sure not to burn. If you like sauces get a couple bowls ready with wing sauce, etc. Pull off grill, toss, and chow down. You'll never go to wings'n'more again.

Can smoke them too as well. Usually about 1 1/2 to 2 hours over favorite smoking wood. I use post oak and add some apple

I grill drummettes a lot. I season them, grill them then coat them like hot wings with either a wing sauce or bbq sauce.

You can't do this tonight, but if you want solid crispy wings without having to fry them do this. Much less hassle and cleanup, but you have to prepare a day in advance to get them in the fridge so they dry out enough.
