Have seen pics at a feeder on a property that is partially in Terrell and partially in Brewster.

Another time, saw something rather large and black disappear into the brush in a canyon bottom. Was way too big to be a javelina, and have never seen wild hogs there. Thought it might be a bear. We didn't go down and look, we weren't that curious to find out.

Based on this pic, it seems that this bear may have a moonlighting career as a pole dancer in a club in Del Rio.
That's who was in one of the old Laredo Heat threads!!!

That bear is thinner and less hairy than anything in the Laredo Hear threads.

We have often seen black bear and free ranging elk on my place in central Terrell County.
We have game cameras set up on all water troughs on the Ranch and one never knows
what can be seen in that country as there are very few high fences to impend game movement.
Most people do not realize the amount of game in that country including huge wt., mule deer, elk,
mountain lion and predators. It is a long haul out there but it is very much worth the trip but you
better bring everything with you because there are no Walmarts or fuel supplies close by.
