Looking for ideas on deer blind windows. Of course it needs to seal tight and kept water out. I hate the oversized windows they put in blinds now a days those big open windows kinda don't help you hide. Most likely will be 5-1/2' by 5-1/2' blind. I'd prefer hinge windows and of course can build **** with steel.

I use these. The window panes are removable, too. Very easy to install.

Ive built a bunch of plywood blinds using these, or even the smaller one thats even cheaper.
I offset so direct light doesnt run through

On hand at Lowes or HD.

The 14" x 21" on shed-windows.com is $21.95. I used to buy this type of window from Home Depot for my deer blinds, but they dont stock small enough ones any more and the smallest they have are too expensive.

I have made many different kinds myself, but I prefer the "store bought" one with an aluminum frame if I can find it.

Deer View is the way to go. I just wish I was the one who started the company.

Thanks to Harvey, I am having to build a new blind. I purchased through Deer View Windows (linked above) back in early September. I called last week and they said they should be delivered by Oct. 25th. They don't start making the window until you order it, so it takes at least 25 days to get them out. They appear to be good windows, but I'm disappointed I won't have the thing in the pasture until that close to the start of the season.

I paid about $35 per window ~$175 total with taxes and delivery.

My dad has pretty much perfected a plexi glass flip up with a seal and tabs / wing nut to lock it in place. I will try to get pictures when I go down next weekend. I am sure that will be too late but it may help someone later.

McCoys local here in BCS has something similar, glass with aluminum frame, but hinged versus sliding glass for $30-$40 if I recall correctly. This was 2-3 weeks ago.

Add another to ideal aluminum in Victoria.....tell em how big the opening is and screw em in....

Allow 1.5" for each side.....ex. 12" opening gets you a 9" shooting space/glass

Another vote for Deerview! And not just because one of my stands is on their website, they are great windows.

If you're near League City, check out Dickinson Feed and Supply. They carry deer blind windows that are similar to Deerview's. They have hinged and sliders, clear or tinted panes, and multiple sizes. I have some of their hinged windows that have worked great for a year so far. I chose them over Deerview as I could look at them and handle them before buying and it was much cheaper than anything from HD. They also have premade doors if you're looking for something weaher tight.
