Friendly reminder that both Oklahoma and Arkansas throw WAY more money at their state parks.....and actually release already raised funds......cough cough, unlike Texas

As a kid, we use to camp Lost Maples on a nearly annual basis. We camped a lot of state parks, but Lost Maples seemed the most memorable.

I highly recommend getting a regular tent so you can move from the car campground to the backcountry. Going to Campsite "C" at Lost Maples is a short hike.
