I feel like this answer makes me boring compared to the exotic fish listed here.

But a 30" speckled trout is still the bench mark for me. 24" is my largest. I've had plenty of break offs. Always wonder if that was the one!

We scrambled up a guide on a cruise stop last minute and my dad caught a permit. None of us had a phone or a camera.

Caught my dream fish, a blue marlin, on our Costa Rica honeymoon in 2010. I'd still like to get a big roosterfish but don't really have a hard on for much else that I haven't already caught.

I've done it, DIY, from my own boat, with a fly I tied - And doing it again IS ALL I think of.

If the qualifier is that you haven't realized the dream yet; then I amend it to 'Tarpon on fly in every country tarpon are found'.

I get really excited every time I get a bass over ten pounds. I did not catch one last year so I think I'm due soon.

Hollar at me if anybody ever wants to come to the Middle East to catch a giant trevally. I haven't done it yet, but I have several friends who live around me in the UAE that go to Mussandam to catch them. They say it is incredible. Mussandam is on the tip of the Arabian Pensula and is an easy drive from Dubai or Abu Dhabi. I want to make a trip there while I am living here but haven't yet gotten around to making it happen. I just need a little motivation and somebody to go with me.

I want to catch a double digit bass in my lifetime.

It would be nice to catch a redfish that is identifiable. My current PB is about 7" long (and yes that is for the fish also)

I have caught Marlin and Sailfish.

And I have caught the bull reds running in October at the POC jetties. We had come in from offshore early and saw all the trout boats catching them. Our offshore gear was killer. We caught 10 over 48". One was 56". Fun time. All survived and were sent towards the jetties.

I have caught many Dorado. But I would like to catch a real big Bull some day. One that comes out of the water with all his neon lights on.
