I'm not sure how good they are, but for just a little more you can get a Faxon barrel.

I bought Stainless 18" mid-length gas AR Stoner barrel a few years ago for my 3 gun rifle. At the time of the build options for barrels were pretty sparse and these were about my only option. I have to say I have been extremely impressed with it. That barrel has worked really well for me competition shooting, so I imagine that it would be fine for a truck gun.

weren't the ar-stoners made by satern for a while? At least the grendels? Seems like quality was hit or miss after the first run, but they sure are cheap and I'm sure it'll be acceptable for a knocking around the property gun.

No problems for what you're needing.
Also try spinta precision. small manufacturer for most companies. Good selection and great service.
Also, good selection of pistol barrels and 9mm BCG and barrels.

I am curious about the quality of barrels/manufacturers. I have historically only used Noveske or Larue, but was looking at a few others on Brownells. I am working on a build for a 'truck' gun and do not want to spend high dollar; but I do not want to have to worry about quality of construction either.

How would you guys rate Faxon, DSG, Brownells, Daniel Defense, Wilson Combat (others) commonly found on Brownells or DSG?

I have a 6x45. It's pretty nice. No issues and as accurate as I am so far.

And I love the hell out of my Faxon pencil barrel.
