I don't disagree with you. The thing about it is there is so much unpredictability with these storms. Irma had a 1000 mile swath 4 days out and 15 miles one way or another can make a huge difference on the impact of a city. Harvey was on track to hit Sea Drift dead on as a cat 3 which would have been terrible for victoria but then it shifted west 20 miles to Rockport/Port A and when it did that I decided to stay. When it made landfall it was predicted to hit Goliad directly but then shifted back east and went right between Goliad and Victoria which greatly increased the winds and damage for western Victoria. Then of course Victoria and Pt Lavaca was supposed to get 50" of rain and
Houston was supposed to be relatively untouched. Then a day later and the entire metropolitan area is submerged and no one had left until it was borderline too late. You can't expect 11.5 million people to evacuate every time a bird farts in the gulf. There isn't enough infrastructure to handle something like that

Will we have protests to remove the name of this storm?

I hope they all protest at the landfall beach.
