As slow as it's moving, emergency teams have a pretty large window in some areas to help while the eye hovers over. But it still may be too risky and the emergency center could still be within the eye wall.

Mandatory evacuation for Rockport was announced yesterday. It's terrible that folks who stayed are in imminent danger, but why should first responders risk their own lives to save those who chose to stay?birdman said:
