With all the debris around those roads are impassable no matter how calm it is.
Doubt they are going to rescue, their structure is damaged so where would they take them? They told everyone to get out and they didn't. At this point they are on their own

Not many amphibious tractors available, but a well designed one would be good to have.

One question I have is why TWC was showing winds of 40-50 mph when I'm watching Jeff get pounded by winds he says were 140-150?

Yeah I guess so. I'm familiar with Austin news and weather folks having grown up there but man... Rockport was just asking for it. Hope they're OK and everyone is OK even though I know it won't end up that way.

Mandatory evacuation for Rockport was announced yesterday. It's terrible that folks who stayed are in imminent danger, but why should first responders risk their own lives to save those who chose to stay?birdman said:

I realize that this is a sensitive issue and that lives are at stake but the fact remains that folks were asked to leave. Having others, paid or not, putting their own lives in danger is ludicrous.
