I've been through two hurricane eyes, but they were both weakening cat 2 when it happened. It is freakin weird though. Light beeezes, sunny skies during the day. Then the worst wind and rain hits...

If I hear anything change for the worse I'll post on here. All my family amd friends are in corpus and the bluff so I have a steady stream of updates right now.


Seems The bluff is getting to the south of Harvey. Feeds of people walking outside. Still heavy rain s and winds...but nothing like what port a and Rockport are experiencing.

Not great service now but it was ****ing crazy about 10-15 ago. Wait for the eye and it should go back to normal quality

I am really concerned for the live oak at goose island state park and the Fulton mansion. Two Texas treasures.

San Jose Island may be enough to save it from storm surge, but that wind is ferocious.
