That's a lot of the concern. They've been predicting something similar for many days. Not necessarily the reintinsifying, but looping back to the gulf and picking up more moisture.

For those of you in Austin/San Antonio who are blowing this off, don't forget about Hermine, that was a mere tropical storm that flooded Austin, and Charlie, another tropical storm, that flooded San Antonio, Austin, and Del Rio.

There is a reason why Central Texas is called flash flood alley. Do not mess around with this.

Pray for Texas. We are going to need it.

Ike exceeded impact forecasts in that it took out electric transmission lines to tens of thousands of folks that never saw 40 mph wind. No power for weeks.
