No. I live on White Oak bayou in Houston and my neighborhood flooded Memorial Day '15 and Tax Day '16. Thankfully my house didn't take on water, the only time it did was Allison when it was 4' under. I'd rather not experience that for myself.

IBT "don't live next to a bayou and b*tch about flooding" crowd.

I'm by no means a forecaster but yes that seems like the worst possible case for us.

But keep in mind that map is 7 day total from now until next Wed. But if we get a total of 20" over 7 days and 15' fall between Fri-Sun then that ain't good.

No, I don't need the rain. Most of the coast of Texas doesn't need the rain. Nowhere needs 8"-10" of rain in multiple waves like this damned thing could do.

Newsflash: we don't always need fuggin rain. Sometimes a good dry spell is a great thing.
