My college roommate living in the Westbury area just put life vests on her dogs a bailed on her house. We have looked for ways to get to her and it's impossible. She found a dry house and is staying there while she tries to find a way out of her neighborhood. I can't imagine that feeling.

Not quite the level that TPWD sent for Katrina, but quite a few Lousiana game wardens are in the Houston area.......really hoping this doesn't turn out to be a logistical blunder.

I found out how bullheads and green sunfish get everywhere. My neighbors' stock ponds are topping over and flowing down a good stretch of my drive and there are dozens of them darting around in the flowing water.

Do they really need boats? I've got a small maneuverable boat, but I'm a ways from Houston and don't want to get trapped on the Houston side of any major flooding and unable to get back home.

Cajun Navy has been green lit by local officials and is inbound to Dickenson form Louisiana.

Think about the number of students that live in Houston. Even if half went home, that's a pretty big number. Not to mention any from the costal bend.

Campus floods real bad but not usually any of the systems like that.

No idea on the state of campus right now though, been a few days since I was on campus for anything.

Just another day in the office pulling a buddy on a boogie board while doing rescue work. The've got more video of these kids rescuing others on that twitter feed. Even saved some bunnies!!!

My aunt and uncle are heading for their roof. Anyone have a a hook up with rescue near Braeburn Country Club area? They said they would call but I figure TexAgs knows people too.
