What's the chances of this impacting air travel into Austin Saturday morning? Trying to decide if I should freak out and try to get an earlier flight or not.

Most of those models are showing landfall 72-96 hrs out from today. I'd think you'd be fine, but who knows what's going to happen.

What appears to be the center is clearing the Yucatan and trying to get the band back together.
He could spin up to a Cat 1-2 by landfall. That hotter water in the Northern Gulf might make a difference.

I drove between Corpus and Houston at the end of last week, and there was still a lot of cotton still on the bowl. Hope they are able to get it all in.

Ya my customers are about 50% harvested and this is the best yields we have ever had. Really need to get this out or they will go under. 140,000 acres of 2-4 bale cotton

A great friend has a couple bottles of Pappy he's been offering to help with quality control for at least a year, I still haven't made it over.
This is the top of my list of bourbons to sip.
That should tell you how busy I've been.
Carpe milkum is 4, I'm not missing a second more of his life than I have to.

Let me put it this way. Ive never heard a farmer complain about modules being light from cotton blowing off on the way to the gin, and farmers can complain about everything.

I don't have it, I follow them on twitter for free. So I don't get their good stuff, nor as fast.
There are folks here that have it that can chime in.
Me not having it is because I'm about to buy a new phone. I'll buy it then.
By most accounts it's pretty good, I will try it out soon.

Not sure how often it refreshes, but I'll keep an eye on it to see. Newest model here. Looks like it's anyone's guess as to where it goes once it makes landfall, but it'll be slow moving

It is negligible. Cotton that comes from module trucks carrying conventional modules (rectangular) lose a SMALL FRACTION of the cotton that used to blow off trailers back in the day (pre- mid 80's). Cotton from the self-moduling John Deere round-bale pickers is next to zero (unless the round bale has been damaged in the field or picking it up). When cotton 'strings out' it looks like more than it really is; a good case in point is the cotton left behind after picking if the machine does a poor job - there may be X there, but it will look like X^2.
