The weather got a little sporty here today in the Red Desert. We witnessed multiple funnel clouds and a couple of legitimate tornados touching down throughout our O&G field in and around Wamsutter, WY. Fortunately none of them were severe and they didn't stay on the ground long, however, this all made for an interesting Friday none the less.

No, I got offered but I'll be pursuing another opportunity. So I'll be in Midland supporting the Delaware Basin in about a month or so.

That stretch from Laramie to Rock Springs is pretty neat....once. There sure is a lot of nothing out there. You see more Californians through there than Wyomingites(?). I will be making that drive again in a couple of weeks on the way to Yellowstone.

Neat pictures, BTW.

Yeah lots of Californians. I-80 is a lonely stretch of road. It's unfortunate that most people only see WY while passing through on that road. It is a lot more interesting in the winter when you can spot hundreds of elk wintering close to the interstate.

They're around. Lots of females are off giving birth this time of year so the herds are a bit more scattered.
