I clicked on the one female bio and they are husband and wife...not brother sister.

looks like a good mix of people. should be interesting. two father/son teams in there as well

7 pairs of family members travel to Northern Vancouver Island, a remote and rugged region of British Columbia known as the "Wet Coast". I would like to see them get the same items as before just split between the two. The decisions on who takes what initially would make for good discussion. Plus 20 items would make this almost a camping trip. You only need 1 axe, 1 pot, before long you end up pretty far down the list of available items.

thats what it is. last time the one contestant was allowed to choose 10 tools. this time it says 10 tools split between them, so 5 each, which same amount of tools total as the single person. until they find each other they wont have everything.

Have they fixed the History Channel App? Tried watching it, but that SOB was buggy as hell.

don't items like rain gear and sleeping gear count as part of their 10 item load? if so, that will decrease the amount of other useful items dramatically.

Watching making the cut. It is always so dumb how much they build up the danger of large predators. They keep talking about cougar attacks. The vast majority are attacks on small kids. But they would have you think these guys will be punched in at any moment.

I do think that now, with a partner and presumably an increase of take along items, that the climate/ conditions should be worse. I'll miss the alone mental aspect of the game but who am I kidding I'm going to watch it either way. It'll still beat 90% of whats on TV.

Finally got around to watching the making the cut episode. The husband/wife team has one unique advantage if you can turn the cameras off. I'm curious if all teams will successfully link up.

Well they ain't the typical dirty Cajuns or cousins I was hoping for, but I'll stick with my early pick just because. I'd go with the Alaska boys as the other favorites and I think the wife loses too much weight and gets a medical evac.

Yeah idiot went hiking when all he had to do is sit on the beach and figure out s good place for a shelter.

Just caught it this weekend. How did they let those guys through the screening process? I would have railed on my brother all the way back home and continued to do so for the next several years. What the hell was he doing taking a walkabout when he could have been starting a perfectly good temp shelter until the useful brother shows up?

I get doing something stupid and careless 20 days in when you are tired and hungry, but he hadn't even taken his first piss yet.

Yeah, I get scouting for a good camp site. But did I hear him say he was just going to go into the woods "to make some noise"? Once I heard that I looked at my wife and said he was an idiot and that team wouldn't make it one day.
