Got some new sod this weekend about 5 pallets for the backyard. My installation team did not communicate the watering schedule. I know this is different than St. Augustine which is in the front yard. Right now we're doing twice a day, 7am and about 5pm.

Can anyone help with watering schedule, mowing and possible near future fertilization?

The twice a day should be fine for the next 10-14 days (without rain of course). then drop to once a day for another week. At 30 days you should be able to go to 3 days a week. Not knowing your soil, after the peak heat of the summer, try weaning it to only 2 days a week, then as needed.

And of course, make sure you are aware of any local water restrictions/variances needed for new sod.
