Wallhanger from the family place
it depends on your definition of a wall hanger. I have a wall hanger from our family place....the biggest we have taken on it (~27 years) but likely many on this board would poo poo even getting it mounted

I've passed on two great deer at the ranch that a lot of folks would have dirt napped. First one was a beautiful main frame 10 with a drop on the left side. He was the first big deer seen on the place in the first three years since the family took back management of the place about 10 years ago. Second deer I saw two years ago was a main frame 10 with a drop on either side. I was hunting a blind that usually sees more hog activity so I had my AR loaded with FMJ's and wasn't planning on seeing any deer, much less a shooter. I watched him for 30 minutes obsessing over whether breaking his neck and having the taxi use another cape was justified. Both deer were 3.5-4.5 and too young and too good to pull out of the herd early. I'll know when the right deer walks out at the ranch. Until then, I'll enjoy all that comes along with hunting your own property with family.

Lots of wants and wishes, most of which will never be more than that.

But my biggest bucket list item right now is to be there when (hopefully) my girls get into hunting and shooting and take their first game. Still a long shot to ever happen with one of them. Outside of that, i'd love one more hunt with my dad - not sure his health will ever really allow it, but i still would like a day in the field anyway, even if we don't shoot anything.

For me, I'd love to be able to sail from island to island in the Caribbean. No rent, no mortgage, no car payment - just being able to sail and enjoy life. Also, pretty much any big game hunting is still on the list for me, as well as several more benign items - like a good pheasant hunt in the Dakotas, would love to go back to AZ and go south on a scaled quail hunt with a good buddy of mine and his son, would love to go east and hunt quail in Georgia. Hell, i'd love to go to Germany and duck hunt or chase red deer through the Black Forest and walk the same woods that my blood is from.

God has a sense of humor.

Dated a woman who wanted to have one with me and was kinky as hell. Things ended before we found someone.

Dated another woman that had a threesome in college, but we met post college and that part of her life was over.... suggested it a few times and she wouldn't budge....

Would love to find a huge walnut tree I could cut in to slabs and dry, level and build a table myself. I would love to have enough wood from one tree to make a full furniture set: table, buffets, dressers, etc with natural edge styles.

1. I'd really like to take one of my Grandkids out & be with them when they kill their first buck. I'd like to see them develop a love for the outdoors & hunting... and know that that love will be passed on after I am gone.
(Granted, my kids are 8 & 10, but it's a bucket list so what the heck)

2. Philmont or Northern Tier with my son if he keeps scouting.

3. Shoot an Elk or Mule Deer with my bow in the mountains.

Twins were fun (not at the same time).

I've always really wanted to ride in a fighter jet.

Other than that I just spend a lot of time with my dad before he's gone and I'd be happy.

Used to stare at texas maps with my childhood friend and plan a trip to fish every bay in Texas. Got it figured how to do it in a week. Now I just need a few boat mods (25 gallon fuel tank, running lights) to make it happen.

I had a great 2011 hunt with my dad and brother for pronghorn near Cheyenne.

Would love to do something like that again.

In the meantime, hunting with my kids is pretty great and I can't ask for much more than that. My daughter (no, no pics) will be in God's Country (yes, TAMU) in the fall and my son still likes to hunt with me. He's particular to hunting javelina at Chaparral WMA. But that country grows on you so I understand.

I would like to do a northern New England big timber deer hunt. Snow tracking and stalking. Open sights 30-30.

I think mine are pretty doable.
