I'm teaching at Chasefu this week and thought I'd share some pics. But first, on Sunday, Melissa and I were inducted into the Church of Central Africa, Presbyterian Synod of Zambia, Christian Women's Guild and Christian Men's Guild. This photo shows us wearing the official uniform of each-

On Monday morning we drove to Chasefu, about 40km, where Chasefu Theological College and Model Farm are located. The road is bad, so we stay in a partially completed house during the week. No electicity or running water. It's like camping, and really not too bad.

One of the field projects for the seminary students had been weeding onions. They've each been assigned seven beds to care for until we harvest them in a couple of months.

Another project this week has been transplanting musangu (Faidherbia albida) seedlings in the field. We started the seedlings from seed back in the fall.

Yesterday the students started moringa seedlings, planting seed in black plastic seeding tubes.
