I was able to find by my name.
You can check your local Central Appraisal district and possible find the property ID.
Most I have seen are personal. All the ones I claimed were.
i.e. Sears, Office Depot, closed credit unions, but also small royalties and such.

car dealerships appear to have tons of unclaimed insurance claims on there. I was searching random rich people like Red McCombs and Troy Aikmen and their dealerships have tens of thousands of dollars unclaimed. Seems like you could make a pretty decent service business getting this money for people/businesses.

I try to remember to check for friends and family once a year and I keep seeing my 93 year old grandmother owed $100 and mother owed $100.
